All of the playlists with which we work are generated by users. To make sure that our curators manage high-quality playlists with large followings and active listeners, we have a stringent vetting process before we agree to work with them.

If your song is popular enough to appear on Spotify’s release radar and discover weekly, you will get many additional streams. When you get more streams on discover weekly, your song will have a greater chance of being placed on one of the official Spotify playlists.
